Scholarships for Studying in Australia

The Endeavour Awards are a part of the Australia Awards initiative which was announced by the Prime Minister in November 2009. The Australia Awards have been established to maximise the benefit to Australia of its extensive scholarship programs, and to support enduring ties between Australia and our neighbours.

The Endeavour Programme is administered by The Australian Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) and includes a range of international scholarship opportunities for high achieving students and scholars from around the world to undertake study or research in Australia . It also provides opportunities for Australian students and scholars to undertake study or research overseas.

The study in Australia scholarships database provides a searchable list of all scholarships offered by Australian-based organisations, institutions and government bodies available to international students who plan to study in Australia on student visas.

Joint Academic Scholarship Online Network (JASON) is a search engine that contains information about postgraduate scholarships. The scholarships in the database apply to Australian students wishing to study at home or abroad, and to international students wishing to study in Australia.

The Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) offers scholarships to increase staff and student mobility throughout the Commonwealth. It works with various government departments on prestigious and internationally renowned award schemes.
